1 ． Basic Lace Wig Knowledge

1) Q:What is baby hair?

A ： Baby hair is same texture hair as the entire wig but shorter hair knotted around the entire perimeter of the wig. Baby hair makes the hairline look more natural and also helps the wig be more versatile so you can do high pony tails and helps cover the edges of the lace. We can easily customize it to what our customer need are . For example, if you only want it in the front, we can do that.

 

2) Q: What are Bleached Knots? And why do I need it? 

A: When a dark hair is tied to the base of a lace wig with a knot, you can see a dark dot on the skin, especially when the base is lace. Lace cannot hide the knot in the same way a monofilament base does. Bleached knots usually are only done at the front of the lace wig and it helps create the illusion that your hair is growing out of your head.

 

3) Q:What knot is best for me?

A:Single knots are generally better for wigs that have a lighter density. Double knots are preferred for durability and heavy density wigs.

 

4) Q: Why Choose Lace Front Wigs?

5) Q: What’s the difference between Chinese, Indian and Malaysian hair?

A: The biggest difference between Chinese, Indian and Malaysian hair is their thickness and texture. Malaysian is the thinnest and closest in width to natural growing Caucasian hair. Chinese Hair is the thickest overall and tends to be course in texture. Indian hair is the most popular type found in hair systems today. It is thicker than Malaysian but much finer than Chinese remy.

 

6) Q:How long will my Lace Front Wig last for?

A:if taken care of correctly, your Lace Front Wig should last you for years. However, after a while of use, minor repairs such as small lace rips may need repairing, especially if you are not cautious when handling the wig. All you need to do is send the wig to us for repair. Also, because we use the highest quality of 100% human hair, after a year or so you may find that some of the hair has shed, due to brushing, combing and styling. This too can easily be repaired. Many of our clients choose to take the opportunity of sending their wig in for repair to also have highlights added. We will carry this out for little or no charge.

 

7) Q:WHAT IS "FRENCH LACE" AND "SWISS LACE"?
A:The French Lace is a bit more durable. It is stronger and will hold up better over the long run, French lace is slightly more detectable if it does not match the skin/complexion of the user appropriately. The Swiss lace is slightly thinner, it is less detectable and blends better with the the skin/complexion after application, however it is slightly less durable and it rips easier if not handled with proper care. The Swiss Lace is not really recommended for first time users. It is best to learn how to apply the wig and become skilled at the application prior to advancing to the Swiss Lace.

 

8) Q: Can I pick my own hairstyle or do I have to choose from your gallery?

A: Our online hair style galleries are only some examples; they are not all styles from our factory. Actually the choice is yours, you can create your own style and give it to us or you can send us a picture or a magazine and we can make it exact same for you.

 

9) Q:DO I HAVE TO SHAVE MY HAIRLINE BACK TO WEAR A LACE WIG?
A:No you do not. It truly depends on you application preference. Some women prefer to tape/adhere thier wig to their hairline (on their baby hairs or via shaving their baby hairs) in order to achieve a natural look. A natural look can be achieved without doing this. Be sure to properly cut your lace wig leaving enough lace to hold/adhere to the glue. Extra lace is needed to hold the lace wig firmly and avoid placing glue/tape to your hairline. Repeatedly placing glue and tape intentionally on your hair line will cause eventual damage.

 

10) Q:CAN I PART MY WIG ANYWHERE I PLEASE?
A:For custom lace wigs you have several different options for your wig ventilation (direction or "part" style at front of lace wig). Freestyle (part anywhere), Center Part, Left side Part, Right side Part and Flatback Part. If you choose the "Freestyle" (part anywhere) option you will be able to part your lace wig anywhere. If you choose you we can also create the wig to have a natural part in the center, left or right side.

 

11) Q:What is wig density?

A:Density is defined as how thick or thin you want your hair to be. The standard and most popular choice is 120% which is Medium Thick Density. The aveage human head is considered 100% density so 120% is thicker.

 

 

 

2 ． Lace Wig and Lace Front Wig

1) Q: What is a lace wig?

  A: A wig which is made out of Remy (cuticle hair) with a mesh like lace insert (base) in the front or all around (for ponytails) or full system into which individual hairs are hand-tied. This creates a realistic looking hairline. The lace is trimmed to match the skin after purchase so that only a part that looks comfortable and more realistic to the client is left. When using special adhesive, the hairline is so realistic looking that it is virtually undetectable that it is not the wearer’s own growing hair. This is the wig worn by most famous women in Hollywood, the music industry and most models such as, Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Oprah and many others.

 

2) Q:How do lace front wigs differ from "regular" wigs?

A:The main advantage of the full lace wig over other styles is that one can wear their hair in up dos, ponytails, and other styles that expose one's nape area. Traditional wigs usually preclude these styling options. Lace wigs are also more lightweight and comfortable than traditional wigs due to the minimization of tension on the scalp.

 

3) Q:Can I wear my lace front wig or lace wig in a high ponytail?

A:Yes, you can wear your wig in a high ponytail once you apply around your full perimeter with adhesives. You will need a cap construction that is made with lace around the perimeter.

 

4) Q:I exercise and swim often,will my lace wig stay put?

A:YES, the wig is just like your regular hair so you can do all normal activities with it on such as exercising, swimming, showering, sweating, etc. No one will ever know that it is not your own natural hair. The only time you do not get it wet is the first 24 hours after applying the adhesive. There are also special water proof adhesives that you can use as well. You will want to buy a water proof glue like the Ultra Hold for swimming.

 

 

 

3 ． Return and exchange policy

1) Q:If I buy a wig can I return it if I don’t like it?

A:No, All sales are final for sanitary reasons. Due to hygiene reasons, lace wigs cannot be resold once they have been worn and the lace has been cut.

3) Q:Do you charge any Restocking Fee and how much ?

A:Units must be in their brand new condition as stated above and returned within 72 hours (3 business days) of receipt. Read above for terms.

Custom Units:

If you are returning a custom unit, this unit was specifically made to fit your head size and customizations and may be difficult to resale. Therefore, it is necessary to charge a 20% Re-stocking Fee for all custom units that are being returned. (Example: Wig cost $400 - Restocking fee would be $80). We CAN NOT waive the 20% Re-Stocking fee under any circumstance. No refunds will be issued.

In-Stock Units:

If you are returning an In-Stock unit, you will not be charged a restocking fee. You may return the unit for an exchange of another In-Stock unit or a Custom unit as long as you meet all the terms above. No refunds will be issued.

 

4) Q:DO you accept any refund ?

A:We do not accept Returns on wigs that have been altered NO EXCEPTIONS. This includes but is not limited to doing any of the following:

DO NOT Cut the Lace

DO NOT Tear or Rip the Lace

DO NOT Put Glue on the Unit

DO NOT Put products on the Unit

DO NOT Put any chemicals on the Unit

DO NOT dye the Unit

DO NOT attempt to correct the problem yourself prior to contacting us

DO NOT Style or Cut the Hair of the Unit

DO NOT Perm the Unit

DO NOT WASH OR CONDITION the Unit

DO NOT WEAR the Unit

DO NOT destroy or lose original packaging including wig caps and wig bag.Units that are damaged by customer will not be accepted under our return policy.  

If you do any of the above, we WILL NOT accept the return and this policy will not apply. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

 

 

4 ． Making Changes to Your Order

1) Q:Can I make any changes after placing a order ?

A: The stylist begin your order within 24-72 hours of receipt of your payment. Therefore , any changes to your order MUST BE received no later then 72 hours from the time you place your order. Any changes submitted thereafter .

 

2 ) Q: Do you have any service after the product has been sold?

A: Yes! Our attention is always on our client. We want loyal customers to keep long term business relationships with us. So all of our full-time staff will provide the best quality and techniques for you and we will wait to assist you all the time. We offer many policies to our customers such as return and return policy etc. If our customers don't satisfy our products they can send us and we will remake them for free until they feel satisfied.

 

3) May I cancell a order ?

A:Once you place an order with us, our stylist begin working on your unit. If you wish to cancel your order, it must be done within 3 business days.

 

4) Q:how long can a custom wig be finished?

A: A custom wig can be finished within 4 weeks for normal process,if rush process,only need 15 working days.

 

 

 

5 ． Payment and Delivery

1) Q: What payment methods do you have ?

A:We accepts payments by bank transfer, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Money order(Money gram or western union).

 

2) Q: How long will a custom hair system take to make and deliver?

A: All wig units are delivered by UPS, FedEx or EMS,AAE, they will be sent directly to your door in approximately 3-5 days.

 

3)Q: How can you sell hair systems for so cheap?

A:Unlike other hair company, we have our own factory and we have very strict management. Our operating costs are very low. And we also want to pass the savings to our clients.

7 ． Lace Wig Daily Care

1) Q: How to get rid of the glue on the lace edge?

A:For little gule on the lace edge,you can put it into mild water for 5 minutes ,then wash gule away by little bit alcohol,do not use much alcohol to clean lace.But for much glue,we suggest you use special washing utensil or send it to us,we help you to process it.

 

2) Q:Can I apply and maintain the wig myself? Do I need to have any special styling skills to apply?

Ａ： Though there is somewhat of a learning curve for perfecting your application, you do not need to have the skills of a licensed cosmetologist to benefit from these extensions. We will provide you with the tools needed to perfect your applications. Visit our Lace Wig Application Guide page to learn more about lace wig applications. Instructions on how to apply and take care of your wig is included with each lace wig or frontal purchase. Of course, it is advisable to seek out the services of a stylist who specializes in lace wig applications also.

 

3) Q:Can I dye the hair?

A:The technical answer is yes, but we do not recommend any further processing of the hair if it has already been dyed and processed. Further, only experienced colorists should attempt to color the hair. Remember that though the hair is 100% human hair, it is just as prone to damage from excessive processing as your own hair. We cannot and will not be responsible for the results.

 

4) Q:How should i store my wig?

A:First,the best place to store your wig when it is not on your head is on a wig blick or styrofoam head.This will insure that is not being crushed or flattened in anyway.It will hold a natural head shape and preserve the style best.

 

5) Q:How to wash a lace wig?

A:You may wash your lace front while wearing it. You just want to be sure you are very gentle while doing so. Focus on getting the hair strands clean ,do not massage as you would your own hair. Once finished, gently towel dry and blow dry on low or just let it air dry by itself. You may then apply a conditioner for about 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

 

6) Q: How to apply a custom order?

A: Simply send us an order-form, some hair samples or a hair system; we can make an exact copy of it.

 

7) Q:What king of glue of tape should i choose?

A:If you want a 1-6 weeks hold you will want to purchase the Ultra Hold glue or the Safe Grip Wig Glue. For a 1-10 day hold the Mity Tite is best. Some prefer the ease of rolling on tape adhesive. Or use glue in the front hair line and tape in the back.

 

8) Q ： Can wavy/curly lace wig be flat ironed?

A ： Yes they can, but it depends on the tightness of the curl. For really tight curls (like Jerry Curl and Water Wave) we suggest you don't flat iron it.

Some customers have had success flat-ironing curly wigs, however we highly recommend purchasing a straight style and a mild curly style wig as your wigs will last much longer.

 

9)Q:What accessories will I need along with my wig?

A:You will need the tapes or glue to apply the wig. You will also need an adhesive remover to remove adhesive whenever you need to take off. The scalp protector is also recommended but not necessary. All these items can be purchased in our Accessories Section.
